Mario & Luigi have often embarked on team-based RPG adventures together, and Paper Mario has likewise struck out with a variety of companions in a flattened journey. However, in Mario & Luigi: Paper Jam, the three meet, together, hand-in-hand, and take on both Bowser and Paper Bowser as a trio of unstoppable jump machines. Nintendo's latest Mario RPG on the 3DS is sure charm, and it charmed us for sure.

We find ourself in February, the middle of winter, a time of dearth in the gaming industry. The floodgates of game releases unleashed in the fall have slowed to a trickle following the holiday season, and most developers are keeping news under wraps as they gear up for E3 in the summer. During these cold days of winter, we take time to catch up on games we missed in the bustle of years past and replay old favorites from long ago. In this episode we talk about some of the games keeping us entertained at the moment, including Mario & Luigi: Paper Jam, The Witcher III, Metal Gear Solid 4, Yo-Kai Watch, Fallout 4, and more. We also discuss some recent rumors regarding Nintendo's mysterious new system, the NX.
