In this episode we put on our speculation hats and rouse up some theories about how Nintendo might use amiibo, their new NFC-enabled figurine line set to launch in the fall. We know that Super Smash Bros. for Wii U, Mario Kart 8, Captain Toad, and many more titles will take advantage of the figures, and 3DS support will not be far behind. In this episode we grab our shovels and take off for adventure with Shovel Knight by Yacht Club Games! When the evil Enchantress and her knights in the Order of No Quarter take over the realm, Shovel Knight endeavors to stop their villainy and save his friend Shield Knight. Along the way he faces challenging platforming, dangerous enemies, tough bosses, and occasional puzzles. The whole game is coated with a robust NES asthetic. Shovel Knight is available now on the PC, Wii U, and 3DS.
